Blum Digital PR: the consultancy that advises consultancies
Applied research in algorithmic reputation for agencies, consultancies and organisations that need to understand how AI models represent them.
Sonia Yánez Blum
Researcher in algorithmic reputation and public relations with over 28 years of international experience. Founder and director of Blum Digital PR, based in Vienna, Austria, with clients across Latin America and Europe.
Sonia Yánez Blum works at the intersection of institutional communication and AI systems. Her focus is organisational representation in language models: how it is built, what distorts it, and what makes an organisation cited with authority and described with credibility when a model answers a query about its sector.
Before specialising in algorithmic reputation, she developed her career in strategic public relations across international environments. That trajectory is the foundation from which she created as an independent researcher the ACA Framework and the GEAC Protocol — applied alongside the complementary framework FACE — as analysis and correction systems built specifically for communicators and executives working with high-profile organisations.
All research, methodology and content published under the Blum Digital PR brand is authored by her.
Blum Digital PR
Specialist consultancy in algorithmic reputation, AI governance and strategic public relations for communication agencies, consultancies and companies with public profiles. Based in Austria with clients across Latin America and Europe.
Blum Digital PR was founded on a concrete observation: AI models answer questions about organisations, people and sectors every day, and they do so without those organisations having participated in constructing that answer. The sources the model uses, the attributes it associates with the organisation, the tone with which it describes its positions — all of this happens outside the control of communication teams.
The consultancy works to change that. Not through generic optimisation techniques, but through proprietary methodology — registered, documented and applicable to specific sectors — that precisely measures what the AI says about an organisation, why it says it and what can be changed in a sustainable way.
Blum Digital PR’s typical client is not the marketing department. It is the communications director who needs to explain to the board how the organisation is positioned in AI models. It is the agency that wants to integrate algorithmic reputation into the services it offers its clients. It is the consultancy that already works with online reputation and needs to incorporate the language model dimension.
The four methodological frameworks
Blum Digital PR projects draw on two frameworks created by Sonia Yánez Blum as an independent researcher — the ACA Framework and the GEAC Protocol — and two complementary frameworks applied through methodological collaboration:
- ACA — Authority and Algorithmic Credibility
- The core measurement framework, created by Sonia Yánez Blum. The ACA-Score™ quantifies an organisation’s representation in language models across two independent dimensions: the authority with which the model cites it or attributes statements to it, and the credibility with which it describes its positions and actions. The index is comparable across models and trackable over time.
- GEAC Protocol
- Governance and Ethics in Algorithmic Communication. A framework created by Sonia Yánez Blum that governs the ethical use of AI in communication teams: validation criteria, human oversight and accountability frameworks. It is the basis for AI governance projects for agencies and communication departments.
- RICFE — complementary framework (Academia ARP)
- Role, Instruction, Context, Format, Emotion/Goal. A strategic prompting framework for communicators working with language models, created by Academia ARP. Blum Digital PR applies it as a methodological complement in algorithmic representation correction projects.
- FACE — complementary framework (academic research)
- Sources, Amplifiers, Catalysts, Echoes. A model of algorithmic reputation propagation: it describes how an organisation’s signals travel through external sources and emerge as generative content in language models. Applied by Blum Digital PR as an algorithmic visibility framework.
The four frameworks are applied in combination depending on the project type. The entry point is always the AI Diagnosis, which determines which service lines to activate.
